THE PERFECT LOOK

I´ve received two e-mails this week, from two followers of this blog; basically telling me they don´t like it: Why? Because It´s a Fashion Blog and Fashion Blogs make recommendations bout what to wear and what you must be away, about what´s in and  what´s out; well, I´m must say they right! But I have a great excuse: I SUCK. I suck on giving advices, I suck on telling what´s in or out, and another tidbit: I´m nobody to tell you what suits you or what doesn´t, I don´t know you. But well, let´s answer the question they left me: What´s the perfect look for this December? Here´s the answer: Abito di organza di seta pied-de-coq con motivi drappeggiati e boots coordinati, Alexander Mcqueen. Guanti Jillian Lewis, Look at her how she deadpans, how beautiful she looks and how these art pieces suit her, I´ll be honest, I´ve never stopped to think how many contrast a look could have; it seems so different with a whole different mood just for adding or removing details; the one in this picture is so artful, yet so easy wearing, the only things Vogue Italy´s staff took off were the fantastic Leigh Bowery make up and the white trash bag from her head; then tousled a little the gray hair from the now fashion Icon Kristen McMenamy, and last but not least, the perfect flash from the Master Steven Meisel´s camera.
That´s it, there´s nothing left, it was as simple as the Duchamp´s urinal, just bringing it to another context; This look being part from a collection based on satire and fashion icons, make me think that if we related to art, would be some kind of Dadaism on it. Look from Alexander McQuenn Fall 2009, when he was alive and kicking. What a MASTER!
Tonio.

I actually can't beleive someone sent you that kind of e-mail.. that's really desrespectfull! who are we to tell you or anyone else, what to do with their blogs? fashion is not only what's in or out. Is history, elegance, icons, symbols, art.... whatever. I'm impressed by your unique style of fashion blogging and I think that's what makes your blog unique and interesting**
Great blog*

¡Saludos!

I love pied-de-coq, it's such an elegant pattern. I have a long (and a bit big for me) cape from my grandmother in pied-de-coq and I want to wear it. I think I should make it shorter because I look like Sherlock Holmes! What do you think? Up to the hips would be ok?

u can just tell those people who sent you those emails to get a life! they suck I mean really who criticizes someone and then asks them for advice about what to wear. They sound like idiots. They should get some personality in their lives and make their own decisions about what to wear. aaahhhh i am such an angry bastard aren't I ..... hahahaha

Memeces. No caigas.

i don't think fashion blogs are ment to give fashion advices. Fashion MAGAZINES are. I think of myself as a fashion blogger, but I would never give fashion advise via internet to someone I've never seen. Crazy idea!

Don't listen to those silly people.

Fashion blogs are only about one thing- inspiration. Why would we need someone to tell us what to wear?

Well, if this blog was another one about what's in/out, most of your readers wouldn't read you.
Except if it was a blog dedicated to the song by Gainsbourg. Great song.
